How many cities Housejoy Operational in ?
We are currently present in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi & NCR, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune and Surat. We're expanding our team rapidly and chances are that we will soon commence operations in your city.
Are the candidate you send qualified ?
Absolutely! We only bring in professionals who have been recommended and certified by experts. We conduct interviews, check referrals, licenses, and do background checks on each and every service provider. Only those professionals who pass our strict onboarding process are allowed to work with Housejoy. All professionals are also required to complete an assessment test to verify their qualifications. Most of them have more than 8 years of experience in his/her field.
What happens if the service provider damages anything?
All of our service providers have passed through a vigorous assessment and certification process. In the unlikely event of our team damaging something, you can email us at cs@housejoy.in or give a call to our support team on 1860-123-4569
Does someone have to be home when the service provider comes home?

What happens if the service provider does not arrive on time?
We immediately arrange for a replacement and schedule a time convenient to you to do the job or register a cancellation of the service requested. You can track the location of all our service providers using the Housejoy App on your phone. This would let you know how far the service provider is from the customer’s home.
What happens in case the requested job takes more time than expected?
We at Housejoy understand that your time is valuable and are always striving to limit the time spent by service providers at your home. However the agents are trained to update you if the job might take longer than expected. Please do expect a buffer of half an hour more or less than the stated time to complete the task.
How do i reschedule a job booked on Housejoy?

Do i have to organize supplies or would the service provider bring his own?
All supplies would be purchased by the service provider after consulting with you. We would assume basics such as ladder and cleaning cloth be available at your home. A bill would be provided for all the purchases made by the service provider.
Can i place a service request without registering on your site?
While we highly recommend you register with us first, you could place a service request on our app/site without registering with us. You do not have to worry about unnecessary calls or messages from us. We have a strict policy against that practice.
How are the professionals rated?
After each service is completed, our customers are asked to rate the service on different parameters and judge the overall satisfaction of the service. You would also be allowed to rate a provider based on some parameters through our app if the service was requested from the app.
How do you place an order on the housejoy App?
Placing an order on the Housejoy App is fast and simple Steps:

Enter your exact requirement along with a schedule that works best for you.
The service provider will then arrive at your home and fix the issue. Our team might also call you before the visit.
How do i download the App?
Go to the Google App store and search for Housejoy. The App is free to download. We're also working on an app for iOS as you read this.
Are there any benefits of using the app?
Absolutely! Our experience on mobile is among the best! It's as easy as Book, Schedule & Relax. Book a service, schedule a time and relax while the job gets done at your home by our expert team. Additionally, there will be offers that are exclusive to the app from time to time. There are many other exciting features that you will soon see on your app in the coming weeks. The Housejoy app is truly the best way to be rewarded for taking care of your home!
I can't view my oders, appointments in the app?
You need to ensure that you've signed in with your email id that was used to place the orders to see them in the app. All orders that you place with us are tied to the email that you provide against the order.
What are the modes of payment?
You can now opt to pay using online payment options including credit card, debit card and netbanking. We however, would highly recommend the wallet mode of payment. As always, you could choose to pay us by cash after the service.
Can I not pay by cash?
Ofcourse, you can. Just select the 'Cash' tab and select the checkbox in the payment screen.
How does the wallet work?
All the Housejoy Money that you've earned along with your wallet balance powered by our wallet partner Citrus would enable the wallet payment. Keep an eye out to know the ways to earn Housejoy Money!
I don't see the payment screen. Am I doing something wrong?
Payment option is shown only in the case of an order where the total price of the order is known. For services that either need an inspection or have a variable pricing, the payment option will not be available as the final amount of the order is yet to be determined. We're working on a solution to allow payment after the job.
How do I pay from my wallet if my balance is insufficient?
You can always top up your wallet from the payment screen to top up your wallet balance and then proceed to pay. It is advisable to have your wallet sufficiently funded for a seamless experience.
How safe is my card information with you?
We work with certified and experienced partners in managing your confidential information including saved cards among others. Your information is saved in an encrypted form and information sent over secure channels. Your information is therefore safe and secure.
Can I pay for an order using 2 different payment modes?
We do not support this currently. However, we plan to support this shortly in the weeks to come.
Can I pay online after a service?

How do I book a service?
You can book a service from our app or by visiting our website. It's as easy as Book, Schedule & Relax. Book a service, schedule a time and relax while the job gets done at your home by our expert team. You can also call our support team on 1860-123-4569.

What sets Housejoy apart from my regular parlor down the street?
We send you top notch beauticians and high quality materials in the comfort of your home! You can watch your favourite TV show, keep an eye on the baby or help the kids with their study, all while Housejoy beauticians get you groomed, ready and beautiful!
Are you going to carry all the equipment or, will I have to run around arranging things? You know, I’m used to being pampered at the parlor.
From wax heaters to pedicure tubs; from disposable gowns to nail paint remover- our beauticians carry everything in their magic bags! All you need to do is heat some water for us and be ready to be pampered!
Are your beauticians going to carry quality materials?
Unlike usual home services, we do not leave the sourcing of the materials on the beauticians- we go out and pick every wax heater, every pedicure tub and each tube of hair color ourselves. And our partners - L'oreal for hair and Lotus for skin, help us out! Every beautician is given a kit of materials she needs and she's ready to go!
Is it safe to have these beauticians in my house?
The safety of both - the customers as well as the beauticians - is paramount. We run a background check on all our beauticians before inducting them into our operations. We ensure that all service providers travel in twos and we also try to ensure that the last service for the day does not extend until late.
What are your work timings?
We provide services from 10 AM to 7 PM on all days a week
How good are your beauticians?
All our beauticians have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Tier 1 Salons. Additionally, we organise training sessions for them every two months to hone their skills further! The beauticians may at time be accompanied by their understudies. These understudies however are there to assist the beauticians and not perform full-fledged services on customers
Do you have any additional travel/delivery charges apart from the prices listed on the website?
No. All our charges are mentioned on the website/app. No additional charge for transport etc. can be taken from you
What about men who may want similar services?
Currently, we are a for-women, by-women service. Do watch this space for any updates on this front!
What is 'Deep Cleaning?
In Deep cleaning, our endeavor is to give your home a spa like treatment. A professionally trained crew equipped with state of the art machinery and eco-friendly chemicals (Taski®) will come for deep cleaning. A typical full home deep cleaning can easily take 6-8 hours depending on the size of the apartment & the amount of dirt. Our crew will clean every corner of your house, remove dirt & cobwebs, sanitize the place using the Taski® chemicals and focus extensively on removing stains & hard water marks. We try to remove stains on best effort basis. However, some stains might not go away.
Why is 'Deep Cleaning' so expensive?
Deep cleaning is done by professionally trained staff who spend more than an hour for just 1 bathroom cleaning. The service is also aided by Taski® chemicals & machinery. All of this alongwith the transportation cost of the team makes it a slightly expensive service. In comparison, a typical housemaid cleans up the entire home in less an hour using phenyl or similar chemicals.Also, please note that our prices include 14% service tax.
How often should I get 'Deep Cleaning' done for my home?
To keep your home sanitized & clean from germs, we recommend deep cleaning service once every 4 months.
What is not included in 'Deep Cleaning'?
Even though Deep cleaning is supposed to be an extensive exercise, there a few things which are not included in the service. Major exclusions are: Sofa shampooing, mattress shampooing, utensils cleaning, washing the clothes, cleaning the interiors of the kitchen appliances & personal wardrobes, chandeliers & construction debris.
Do you use acids?
We do not use acid for cleaning service.
What is 'General Cleaning?'
General cleaning is our express service wherein our professionally trained crew comes to your home and does the entire cleaning in a matter of 2-3 hours. General cleaning focuses on cleaning the dirt, germs, cobwebs & is more of a manual cleaning. We do not use scrubbing machine in this service. Our aim is to make your place more hygienic for your loved ones to live in.
How often should I get 'General Cleaning' done for my home?
To keep your home clean, we recommend our General cleaning service once every month.
When should I get 'Deep Cleaning' done for my house?
We recommend Deep cleaning in following cases: 1. Moving into a new home 2. Your home is very dirty 3. House was recently painted 4. Recently moved into your old home 5. Before any auspicious ceremony (House warming ceremony)
Why should I get 'General Cleaning' done for my house?
We recommend General cleaning in following cases: 1. To keep your home sanitized & hygienic 2. Before & after hosting a party at your home 3. As a replacement to your daily cleaning needs
What is not included in 'General Cleaning'?
Major exclusions are: Mechanized scrubbing of the floors, Sofa shampooing, mattress shampooing, utensils cleaning, washing the clothes, cleaning the interiors of the kitchen appliances, kitchen closets & personal wardrobes, chandeliers & construction debris.
Who are the Professional Cleaning Squad (PCS)?
PCS is our solution for all your custom cleaning needs. We provide cleaning experts for half day, 1 day or more depending upon your need. You tell our cleaning expert about what you want to get cleaned & how you want to clean. You can get your furniture, fixtures, floor, walls, old cabinets etc. dusted & wet cleaned. Basically, you are the supervisor. In this service, our charges are purely for man-hours. The chemicals (cleaning agents), machines (eg vacuum cleaner) and tools (broom, mop etc.) have to be provided by you.
What services are not included in the PCS?
Our cleaning experts will not be washing the utensils and clothes. They are their only for your home cleaning needs. Also, any life threatening or dangerous work will not be carried out by our experts.
Are there any cancellation charges?
If you inform us about the cancellation 12 hours prior to the scheduled slot, there is not cancellation charge. However, for any cancellation within the last 12 hours, we charge a cancellation fee upto 50% of the job value.
What about damages and theft of personal belongings?
Although our crew is professionally trained, background verified & thoroughly checked, still in case of any damage or theft, Housejoy is not accountable. Our strong advise to you is to make sure that all your belongings are carefully kept in a secure location. Please make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision only. Also, when our team is leaving your premises, please make sure that you have thoroughly checked the entire home.
Are there any charges for inspection?
We charge a nominal fee of Rs. 250 towards inspection charges.
Why are your rates higher than that of the local Plumbers, Electricians & Carpenters?
-All our Service Providers are among the best in market, each having an experience of around 10 - 15 years in the domain and hence their quality is miles ahead of the local technicians -We don't send random unverified service providers; all of them are background checked and police verified. Hence they are trusted & reliable. -We offer 7 days warranty on the work done. We would do the rework free of cost should a problem arise within 7 days of the work done by us.
Is it safe for me to allow your Plumber, Electrician or Carpenter in my home?
It is absolutely safe for you to trust our Service Providers. All of them are background checked and police verified. Hence they are trusted & reliable. Our Operations team is always in constant touch with the SP when the work is being done.
What are your work timings?

Do you offer 'before 9 AM' and 'post 7 PM' services?

All our rates for Plumbing, Electrical & Carpentry are only for the Labour Charges. They do not include the cost of materials. Our Service Providers will tell you what all materials (spare parts) are needed. You can buy the materials by yourself, or our Service Provider will buy the same for you.
Do you provide warranty or guarantee for the materials or spare parts?
Service Providers will help you in the procurement of spare parts/materials from standard shops. However, HouseJoy is not responsible for the quality of the spare parts; it lies on the manufacturer/seller of the same. The Service Provider submits the original copy of the bill to you at all times. If this is not done. do ask for it.
What is the difference between a 'minor' and 'major' work?
There is no such thing called a minor work or major work. Our rates are dependent on the workmanship/skillset required and time needed to complete the work. However, the rates may not always be directly proportional to the time spent on the work.

Do I still need to pay a fee, if you can’t repair my phone?
There are two kind of charges- Visiting charge and Inspection charge. If the device is not repairable, a minimal visit charge might be applicable (depending on your city). However, the Inspection charge is only applicable if the device is repairable and you decide NOT to go ahead with the repair, after inspection.

Regarding service, there is a 7 days warranty, such that if a problem of the same nature reoccurs, our services will be free of cost

Housejoy provides a variety of services, ranging from refrigerators to geysers. However, do note that the availability of our services vary from city to city. Hence, we request you to go through the rate card prior to booking a service and skip those services not mentioned on the city specific rate card.
What is the turnaround time for items procured by you for Appliances Repair?
It depends on the availability of spare part. If available or if it can be procured immediately, the part is delivered within 72 Hours. In case of a delay in availability, you will be intimated within 48 Hours.

How does it work? How do I sign up?
You can book a demo/trial session – post which the fitness team gives you a call, and you can decide whether you want to buy the package or not.
I have taken the trial session, and now I want to sign up. How do I do it?
After the trial session is complete, please check your email and click on “BOOK NOW”. You will be taken to a page with details about the fitness packs and their corresponding rates. Select your desired pack, and make the payment online – using any of the options: DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD, and NETBANKING. You will receive a call as well from the fitness team - to take your feedback.
I cannot pay online. What are the options I have?
You can pay by cheque in favor of "SARVALOKA SERVICES ON CALL PVT LTD". You can hand over the cheque to the trainer on the first day of your paid session.
I don’t have a gym at home. How will the workouts happen?
Our expert trainers focus on functional training, which can be easily done at home with no/minimum equipment.
Should I buy equipments for the sessions?
Not required. Just arrange a yoga mat for yoga sessions/floor exercises.
Will the trainer carry equipment for the workout sessions?
Not always but if required and specified, the trainer will carry equipments like dumbbells, Medicine balls, Resistance tubes, Skipping ropes, etc.
Can I take the trainer to my clubhouse/office gym?
Sure. Just make sure you have the required permission.
What is the duration of each session?
All fitness sessions are 1-hour long sessions.
What are the timings available?
You can avail a fitness session anytime from 5 AM to 9PM. Please check which slots are available for your location and for your desired fitness activity (like PT, yoga, Zumba etc.). We try our best to arrange the trainers as per your requirement, but in some cases – you may be asked to reschedule or pay a nominal transportation fee of Rs.100/session.
What if I have to travel in-between my sessions?
You can directly inform your trainer, and reschedule accordingly. But please note that we give a grace period of +15 days (for both 1-month and 3-month packages), and all sessions to be completed within this period – else unused sessions expires, and the trainer is assigned to another client.
Would there be any refund in case i do not finish the sessions within the stipulated time period?
There would be no refund available, although we would encourage you to transfer those sessions to your friend in case you are unable to complete them within the stipulated time period.

Do I need to prepare my laundry ahead of time?
No. Our pick up crew will sort through and make note of the garments given for laundry. He will then provide an acknowledgement of the items collected, with a scheduled date of delivery.
What type of ironing do you do?

What if I’m not home at the scheduled time for pickup?
If you’re not at home, we request you to drop off your laundry at your neighbor's house or leave it with the security guard. Let us know and we’ll collect the garments. As for your acknowledgement of receipt, an email copy will be mailed to you. If you cannot arrange a proxy, we would request you to cancel the request and re-schedule for a suitable time.
What if I have a delicate item that needs to be dry cleaned?
We believe in excellent care for all your laundry, from pickup to deliver. However, we realize that you’re concerned about your favorite dress, or is it your rug? Well, make sure you inform our pick up crew about the garment and we will handle it with special care. Also, in case of stains which prove tough to remove, we will call you for a confirmation before we process the same.
What if my laundry does not fit into a regular bag?
Don’t worry! Our pick up crew always carry a laundry bag. However, if it proves insufficient, we request you to provide a bag for the same, which will be returned to you upon delivery.
What is the estimated time of delivery?
2 days for ironing only, 4 days for wash & ironing and 6 days for dry cleaning. Pretty nifty, right?
Do you have an express service?

How is cockroach control treatment done?
In the cockroach control treatment, the technician will apply an odorless spray of eco-friendly chemical along the corners of the walls & place gel in the cupboards. The entire process should take upto 30 minutes depending upon the level of infestation.
Do you provide warranty on cockroach control treatment?
We do offer warranty but it varies across cities. Please check for warranty details while booking a job. However, we recommend you to go for an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) wherein we provide 3 or 4 (as selected) mandatory services over a period of one year to effectively keep the pests away.
Can I get herbal treatment performed?
We do not provide herbal treatment since we only use our standard materials.
How is 'Ant Control' treatment done?
In the Ant control treatment, the technician will apply a spray of eco-friendly chemical along the corners of the walls & place gel in the cupboards. The entire process should take upto 30 minutes depending upon the level of infestation.
Do you provide warranty on Ant Control treatment?
We do not provide waranty on ant control.
How is 'Bedbugs' treatment done?
In the Bedbug treatment, we provide 2 compulsory services within an interval of 15 days. Our technician will do a fumigation process & spray eco-friendly chemical on the infested area/items (eg beds) in your apartment/house both the times. The entire process will take upto 1 hour.
What precautions should I take after the 'Bedbugs' treatment is done?
As a safety precaution, you are requested to vacate the apartment/house for at least 12 hours. Also, we request you to wash all bed linen, curtains & other clothing articles that may have come in contact with the infested area/items.
Do you provide warranty on Bedbug treatment?
We do offer warranty but it varies across cities. Please check for warranty details while booking a job.
How is 'Anti-Termite' treatment done?
In the Anti-Termite treatment, our technician will perform a 3 step process. He will drill holes at the junction of the wall & the floor of your house at a spacing of 1 ft each. These holes will be filled with a disinfectant chemical & then the holes are sealed using chalk & white cement. The whole process might take an entire day or more depending on the size of the house & the level of infestation.
What is the warranty on 'Anti-Termite' treatment?
We offer 1 year warranty on the Anti-Termite treatment. It may vary across cities and infestation level - please check before booking the service.
How is 'Mosquito Control' done?
In mosquito control, we spray mosquito repellants inside your house/apartment. In extreme cases, we may carry out the fogging process.
What is the warranty on 'Mosquito' treatment?
Their is no warranty on this treatment as the source of problem (eg stagnant water) is usually located outside the your house/apartment.
How is 'Rodent Control' done?
We do rodent control using multiple types of Rodent traps (eg. Sticky glue pads, traps etc.). Also, we help you in identifying the possible location of entry & exit of rodent so that you can get it sealed properly in order to prevent it from happening again.
What is the warranty on 'Rodent Control'?
There is no warranty on this treatment.
What if I am not happy with the service or the service provider?
If you do have any complaints, suggestions or feedback with regard to the service quality, or our service provider, pricing etc please report it to our Customer Support Desk at 1860-123456-9 or mail us at cs@housejoy.in. It is advised to do this within 24hrs of your service.
How long will your professional take to reach the customer’s place after booking?
Our expert normally reaches the customers place within 2 hour’s from the time of booking. If there is any delay from the allotted slot, a call is given in prior to inform our customers.
Do I need to buy my own materials or does Housejoy has that option as well?
We do buy materials on request at the MRP of the particular item itself. However, we do not insist that only we purchase the item. The customer can always purchase and provide the materials to our providers.
How experienced are your service providers?
All are serviced providers are well trained and experienced with a minimum experience of 5 years in the industry.
What if the same problem repeats itself after service?
Housejoy offers a free service if the same problem repeats itself within 7 days from the date of the service.
Would you give a prior estimate if the job requires any additional material or labor?
Yes. For major tasks (jobs taking more than 2 hours), we proceed only after we get the approval of the customer regarding the estimate of material or additional labor that might be required. If you reject the estimate, our expert would leave without any charge.
Until what time do you service customers?
We take in the last order until 9'o clock in the night.

Why should I use Housejoy Drive?
Housejoy Drive was created to ease out driving experience. Just book a driver from us and we will drive for you whether it is a family or a professional trip.
Can I order a driver to pick up my car when I'm not available?
All our drivers are background checked and verified. Feel free to leave your car with the driver. Once you book the service, you can ask your driver to pick you up or your family or just your car. Physical presence is not required.
When will the assigned driver reach the pick-up location?
Every time you book a driver, our app informs you about the arrival time of the driver. However, customer experience is our top priority, we train our drivers so that they reach the pick up location on time.
What is the bill breakup?
We charge a fix amount of Rs 90 for the first hour after which we charge Rs 1.5 per min for day or Rs 2 per minute during night.Additionally we charge Rs 50 during day and Rs 250 during night as a one time booking fee.
Do I need to a car insurance to book your service?
Yes, our drivers can only drive insured cars.
What is the cancellation procedure?
You can cancel your booking either through the website or from the app before the driver reaches the pick up location and there will be no cancellation charges. However if you cancel the booking after the driver reaches the pick up location we charge one time booking fee.

Bike Servicing

What is included in 'Two Wheeler Servicing'?
Our regular service offering intends to do away with the need of visiting a garage for your general maintenance needs. We perform maintenance tasks like oil change, air filter cleaning, spark plug cleaning, brake cleaning, chain adjustment, and valve clearance check at your doorstep. Keep your bike fit and road ready!
What brands of two wheelers do you service?
Currently we are serving Hero, Honda, Bajaj, TVS, Yamaha etc. Not serving Royal Enfield as of now. And sorry, no superbikes either!
What is covered in the INR 450 service charge?
The 450 Rs includes general servicing as well as labor cost for engine oil, spark plug and air filter replacement. In case any additional spare needs replacement, it will have a flat service charge of Rs 50 per spare. All materials are charged at actuals in addition to the labor charges.
What all do you carry for two wheeler servicing?
Apart from the tools required for servicing, we carry engine oil (if specified by you), spark plug, air filter and brake shoes for each service. Also, if you specify during booking any additional spares that you need changed, like indicators, accelerator cable, choke cable, clutch cable etc. we bring those along as well. Please note, that apart from spark plug replacement, air filter replacement, brake shoe replacement and engine oil replacement, every spare replacement will have an additional charge which is not covered in the general service charges.
Do you undertake two wheeler repair tasks such as engine overhaul & clutch plate replacement at home as well?
We would love to, but it’s not possible for us. For tasks like engine repair (engine making noise?), mag wheel repair, shocker repair, body repair, clutch plate replacement etc., we suggest you take the bike to an authorized service center. They have the right set of tools needed for the job and the quality won’t be compromised!
What engine oil do you use for two wheeler servicing?
We generally (based on availability in your area) carry Castrol mineral Oil, if you ask us to bring the oil along. We’d be happy for you to provide us the oil as well, if you chose to.
Will you wash my two wheeler?
Yes, we use a waterless wash solution for washing your bike. Although this does not clean all nooks and corners of the bike, it does a great job of giving a shine to the metallic body of your bike. You will love it! We don’t use water mostly because it is a problem in most societies/ offices as well as the fact that it’s difficult to carry the washing tools on a two-wheeler!

Car Wash

What about a car wash? Which type?
We provide waterless, steam and pressure wash depending on the availability of the appropriate service provider near your location. All Housejoy service providers use high quality chemicals and microfiber cloth which prevents scratches on your car paint while washing.
What is the difference between waterless car wash and traditional car wash?
Waterless wash is eco-friendly! It uses less than 300 ml of water, whereas a traditional wash wastes between 50 and 200 liters of precious water.The wash process uses a special polymer solution which works by a process of emulsification. When sprayed, it breaks down the dirt, surrounds and coats the dirt molecules, lifting them off the surface so that it can be removed without leaving behind a single scratch or mark. Just a clean-shiny car. However, if your car is very dirty with mud cakes after a drive on a muddy road, its best to get it pressure washed.
What do I need to provide you for the car wash?
We need a working electric connection for vacuuming or running the steam machine. HouseJoy service providers usually carry water along with them for washing. However in case of a water wash, please take prior approval from the society complex or your office as it does leave water and soap in the area where the car is washed.
Can I get a monthly subscription?
We are happy to take up a monthly subscription with two washes per week (total of 8 washes per month). The benefits of the HouseJoy way of washing over your traditional society guy washing your car everyday using a rag and water are many. It prevents scratches on your paint which the rag causes, prolonging the life of your car paint and provides better shine. However, for this to work for us, it is essential to have a minimum of 24 car subscriptions in a society complex. If you can convince your society mates to come together to avail this service, we would love to offer this at a range of INR 600-700 per month per car.

Car Servicing

How does this work?
Book for a service on our APP or Website. We will assign the best available service station near you for your job. A representative from the service center will pick up the car from your location and drop it back after the service is completed.
Can I book for a pick up/drop car wash as well?
Yes you can! It works the same way as the car servicing. Someone will pick up the car, and drop it back after the wash.
Is the person who picks up the car trustworthy?
Definitely. We only work with reputed workshops, and the pickup/ delivery is done by authorized personnel only. Please be assured that your car is in safe hands.
Do I need to have car insurance to avail pickup/drop service?
Yes. Car insurance is required for the pickup/ drop service. In the rare event that the car gets damaged during transit from/to the service center, we will assist you fully in working with the insurance provider to claim and fix the damages.

What happens if vehicle owner does not allow a test drive?
We can still get majority of the checks done based on a stationary vehicle. Only the checks which are absolutely dependent upon a moving vehicle will not be done. If the test drive was not undertaken then it will also be documented in the final report.
Is your inspection a guarantee for the vehicle quality?
No. The inspection report is based on the best judgment of our technicians at the time of physical inspection of the vehicle. This report shall be used only as one input in the overall decision making process and should not be considered as sole decision making criterion or the final recommendation for purchasing or not purchasing the vehicle.
When will I get the inspection report?
The report is made available on the same day except if the inspection was completed after 3:00 PM or any other unavoidable circumstances beyond our control.
Do I need to be present during inspection?
We recommend your presence during inspection to ensure absolute transparency. However, it is all right if you cannot make it for some reason.

Driving Schools

How does this work?
Place a request for driving schools on our website or APP. We will connect you to the best available driving school in your location. You can chose between 30 minutes classes every day for 20 days or 1 hour classes for 10 days.
Can I pause the sessions in between?
As of now, this service is not available. The training schools prepare their schedules accordingly and it becomes difficult for them to change schedules.
What if I don’t like the school?
In such an event, we can either find you a different school or refund you the amount. If you have taken up to 2 sessions, we do a 100% refund. However, post 2 sessions, we will refund you the amount pro-rated to the number of sessions left. Same applies to the replacement schools. Post 2 sessions, we can arrange for the remaining sessions to be taken at a different school.
Will the sessions start immediately?
If you have a Learning License, you can begin immediately. However, in case you do not have a Learning License, we will have to apply for a Learner’s license and you can begin the sessions only after that.
Will I get to learn on a car of my choice?
We strive to make the car of your chosen category available to you for training. For example, if you chose to learn on a sedan, we will strive to provide a sedan for your training. However choosing the exact car make and model might not be feasible at all times. Please talk to the training school if you have a fixed choice and they will see if they can fulfill your request.
What if I want to pay the driving school directly?
You may choose to do so, however we recommend you pay us. This way, we can ensure quality services and benefits like finding you a replacement school in case you don’t like the school allocated to you.

Vehicle Paperwork

How does this work?
One of our partners gets in touch with you to inform you about the documents needed. In most cases, you can send over the scanned documents to the partner. However, in some cases, a hard copy may be needed. In that case, the partner will collect the documents from you at your convenience.
What is the average time taken for services?
This depends upon the nature of the job. Our partner will advise you on the average turnaround times of your job
Will I have to visit the RTO?
Only for cases where your presence is necessary, you may need to visit the RTO along with the service provider. Most of the ground work is done by the service provider on your behalf to minimize your efforts in getting the paper work done.
Do the charges include the government fees?
Yes, the charges include the government fees as well as the convenience fee of providing you a hassle free experience.
Do you use Chemical in Wet Service?
Wet service includes cleaning of the Filter and AC with water. For chemical cleaning please book Wet Service “with Chemical”
What do you do in wet service?
Wet Ac service includes washing and cleaning of the indoor unit's filter,external cleaning of indoor unit, cleaning of outdoor unit with water, blower and external cleaning of outdoor unit.
What is included in dry service?
Dry AC service includes washing and cleaning of filter, cleaning of condenser and evaporator, internal dust removal and temperature check, pre and post cleaning
Are your charges inclusive of taxes/Are their any hidden charges?
The charges mentioned are inclusive of taxes for the mentioned scope of work. In case where the scope of work is beyond general service, corresponding charges would be communicated before proceeding with the work.
What is the guarantee that you provide for your service and the materials used in repairs?
The warranty on materials would be communicated separately on the material bill. Please insist for a material bill from the service provider in case he/she has helped you out in procuring the material. There is NO warranty on AC service, for all other services there is a 30 days service warranty.
Do I need to pay at the time of booking or can I pay after the service is completed?
You may choose to pay at the time of booking online or in cash after the service is delivered. We always suggest to pay online - It might give you exclusive discounts too! :)
Can I revise/modify my booking?
Sure you may revise/modify your booking as per your convinience. For the Summer offer - the modifications are limited to one per job only.

What if my AC is under warranty?

  • You are requested not to solicit the services of the service provider. Housejoy will not be responsible for any acts, ommissions, service quality of the service provider if You have engaged the services of such service provider without reference to Housejoy.
  • The HJ App and the Website are owned by Housejoy. Housejoy is the sole owner of the App, Website and all software created to provide You with the Services. Housejoy provides You with a single limited license to download, use and access the App/Website on Your mobile telephone devices for the limited purpose of using the Services. The license is specifically personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive. All content on the App or the Website, which is including, but not limited to, designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files and any other content (“Content”) are the exclusive and sole property of Housejoy. You may not copy, reproduce or use such Content without due attribution of ownership to Housejoy. All icons and logos are trademarks of and proprietary to Housejoy. The unauthorized copying, modification, use or publication of these marks is strictly prohibited.
  • All Content is the exclusive copyright of Housejoy or its licensors, except the Third Party Content and link to third party website. Systematic retrieval of Housejoy Content to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database or directory (whether through robots, spiders, automatic devices or manual processes) without written permission from Housejoy is prohibited. In addition, use of the Content for any purpose not expressly permitted by Housejoy in this Agreement is prohibited and may invite legal action.

  • Housejoy will not be liable to you in any way or in relation to the Contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with its Website and HJ App. Housejoy does not warrant that this Website or the HJ App; information, Content, materials, product or services included on or otherwise made available to you through its Website and HJ App; the servers; or electronic communication sent from us are free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Housejoy shall not be liable for any conduct or behaviour or actions of service providers. However, Housejoy encourages you to notify us of any complaints that you may have against the service provider who has provided You with services on behalf of Housejoy.
  • You agree and acknowledge that the use of the Services offered by Housejoy is at Your sole risk and that Housejoy disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied as to condition, suitability, quality, merchantability and fitness for any purposes are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • In the event any spare parts/materials are required to complete a task, you will need to provide such spare parts/materials. You may request Housejoy’s Service Providers to assist you with the same. Please note, in all such circumstances, Housejoy is not responsible for nor does Housejoy make any warranties as to the quality or fitness of the spare parts or materials. All issues and concerns with the quality of the spare parts / materials should be with the manufacture or seller.
  • Housejoy will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service offered by the Company, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
  • SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, IN NO EVENT WILL HOUSEJOY OR ITS AFFILIATES' AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE PAYMENTS ACTUALLY RECEIVED AND RETAINED BY HOUSEJOY FROM YOU FOR THE PAID SERVICES LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CAUSES OF ACTION BROUGHT BY YOU OR YOUR AGENTS.
  • You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Housejoy, its subsidiaries, affiliates, subcontractors, officers, directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from:
    • your use of and access to our Platforms;
    • your violation of any term of this Agreement;
    • your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

  • The failure of Housejoy to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Terms of Use remain in full force and effect.
  • These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of India, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any claim or dispute between you and Housejoy that arises in whole or in part from our Website and HJ App shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Bangalore.

When you order services through us, we must provide certain of your Personal Information to the third party or vendors to enable the successful fulfilment of your service.

However, we do not sell or rent individual customer names or other Personal Information to third parties except sharing of such information with our alliance partners or vendors such as AppVirality, Leanplum who are engaged by us for providing various promotional and other benefits to our customers from time to time basis their booking history with us.

We use non - personally identifiable information in aggregate form to build higher quality, more useful online services by performing statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behaviour of our customers and visitors, and by measuring demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the website, mobile site and mobile app. We may provide anonymous statistical information based on this data to suppliers, advertisers, affiliates and other current and potential Business partners.   • Every effort is made to remove stains. If stains are not removable, the customer shall not have any rights to claim deduction in charges.

  • We strongly advise you to make sure that all your belongings are carefully kept in a secure location. Please make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision only. Also, when our team is leaving your premises, please make sure that you have thoroughly checked the entire home.
