We conduct interviews, check referrals, licenses, and do background checks on each and every service provider. Only those professionals who pass our strict onboarding process are allowed to work with Housejoy. All professionals are also required to complete an assessment test to verify their qualifications. Most of them have more than 8 years of experience in his/her field.

      Yes, it is advisable for you to be around when the job is getting done. You are requested to take care of your personal belongings or valuables in the presence of our Service Providers. Housejoy will not be liable for any damage or theft arising in case of failure to do so.

      We immediately arrange for a replacement and schedule a time convenient to you to do the job or register a cancellation of the service requested. You can track the location of all our Service Providers using the Housejoy App on your phone. This would let you know how far the Service Provider is from the customer’s home

      We at Housejoy understand that your time is valuable and are always striving to limit the time spent by Service Providers at your home. However the agents are trained to update you if the job might take longer than expected. Please do expect a buffer of half an hour more or less than the stated time to complete the task.

      All supplies would be purchased by the Service Provider after consulting with you. We would assume basics such as ladder and cleaning cloth be available at your home. A bill would be provided for all the purchases made by the Service Provider.

      While we highly recommend you register with us first, you could place a service request on our app/site without registering with us. You do not have to worry about unnecessary calls or messages from us. We have a strict policy against that practice.

      Your day to day cleaning is limited to sweeping and mopping of the floors, where one tends to ignore the nooks, crevices and corners of the house. More often than not your regular cleaning does not take care of deep grime and stains. Our Deep Cleaning service provides thorough cleaning, covering every corner of your house with extensive focus on removal of stains and hard water marks. Our endeavor is to give your home, a spa-like treatment, with the help of a professionally trained crew, equipped with state of the art machinery and eco-friendly chemicals (Taski®).

      The list of services included in Deep Cleaning are given below , however it may vary depending on the room in your house that’s being serviced (Living room, Bathroom, Kitchen etc:

      • Scrubbing of floors using machinery
      • Vacuuming the entire house & upholstery (curtains, AC, etc.)
      • Dusting & wiping of the furniture - top, front and underneath
      • Cleaning of fans, light fixtures, windows, window sills, ledges etc.
      • Dusting of walls and removing cobwebs
      • Scrubbing the wall tiles & stain removal (Bathroom, Kitchen)
      • Descaling water taps – using special cleaning agents (Bathroom, Kitchen)
      • Emptying unwanted waste materials & garbage out.
      • Finish off by sanitizing and disinfecting the living areas – using eco friendly chemicals

      A typical full home Deep Cleaning service can take anywhere between 6-8 hours depending on the size of the apartment & the amount of dirt.

The service is carried out by a professionally trained cleaning crew who use state of the art machinery and eco-friendly chemicals (Taski®).       If you inform us about the cancellation 12 hours prior to the scheduled slot, there is no cancellation charge. However, if there are any cancellations within the last 12 hours, we charge a cancellation fee up to 50% of the job value.

      Housejoy will not be responsible for any form of theft and damage in your house.Our crew is professionally trained, background verified & thoroughly checked, but you are advised to keep an eye on your belongings and also make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision. Also we offer a 7 day warranty on our service. If the problem recurs within this time period, we will re-do the job free of cost.

      It is absolutely safe for you to trust our Plumbers. All our Plumbers go through a round of background verification before being hired. Moreover, our Operations Team is always in constant touch with the Plumbers while the work is being done.

  • Laptop / Computer Repair

      Once you schedule an appointment with us, one of our experts will come home to check your device. Mostly minor repairs are done at your place. However, if needed the device will be picked from your place and a quote provided within 24-48 hrs of pickup. You can then choose to either accept or reject the quote.

      Once your device has been picked up and the problem diagnosed an email quote is sent to you. The quote is completely dependent on the depth of the problem in your device.

      In case the device is not repairable, a minimum visiting charge might be applicable but the inspection charge is only applicable if the device is repairable and you choose to NOT go ahead with the repair after inspection.

      Waterless wash is eco-friendly! It uses less than 300 ml of water, whereas a traditional wash wastes between 50 and 200 liters of water. For the purpose of these Terms of Use, the term 'Housejoy' or 'Us' or 'We' refers to Sarvaloka Services On Call Pvt Ltd. The term 'You' refers to the user or viewer of our Website and/or HJ App.

When You use any of the Services provided by Us, including but not limited to, Electrical, Plumbing, Computer Repair, Laundry, Carpentry etc, you will be subject to the rules, guidelines, policies, terms, and conditions applicable to such service, and they shall be deemed to be incorporated into this Terms of Use and shall be considered as part and parcel of these Terms of Use. As long as you comply with these Terms of Use, We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited privilege to enter and use our platforms. In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between any provision of the terms and conditions mentioned herein with those of the particular service, the provisions of the terms and conditions applicable to such specific Services shall prevail.

  • Acceptance of Terms
      • These Terms of Use set forth legally binding terms for your use of our Platforms. By using, visit, accessing our platforms, you agree to be bound by this Terms of Use, whether you are a “Visitor” (which means that you simply browse our Platforms) or you are a “Subscriber” (which means that you have registered with Housejoy as a user). If you do not accept the Terms of Use, you should leave the Website and/or HJ App and discontinue use of the Service immediately.
      • We may modify these Terms from time to time, and such modification shall be effective upon its posting on our platforms.   • General Registration Requirements
      • In consideration of your use of our platforms, you represent that you are of legal age (18 years and above) to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving services under any law in force in India or other applicable jurisdiction. You also agree to:

        • maintain and promptly update your Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.
      • If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of our Website and HJ App(or any portion thereof) at any time. Housejoy will not be liable for any act or omission arising from the inaccurate information provided by You to Us.
      • You may access our Website and HJ App as available:
        • for your information and personal use;
        • as intended through the normal functionality of Housejoy.
      • You will be required to enter a valid phone number while registering on our Website and HJ App as a subscriber. By registering your phone number with us, you consent to be contacted by us via phone calls and/or SMS notifications, in case of any subscription/service updates. If we do so, each communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to "opt-out" of receiving future communications. In addition, if at any time you wish not to receive any future communications or you wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please contact us as indicated below. If you are registered with the DND National registry you may not receive any promotional messages from us.
  • Subscriber Account, Password and Security
      • If you register on Housejoy, you will be required to choose a password and user name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to:
        • immediately notify Housejoy of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and
        • ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session;
        • never use any other Subscriber’s account without prior authorization from Housejoy
      • Housejoy will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Agreement.
  • User Information
      • Housejoy’s unique business model provides You with location based service providers in a short span of time. To facilitate this, You hereby authorise Housejoy to use the location based information provided by any of the telecommunication companies when You use the mobile phone to make a booking. The location based information will be used only to facilitate and improve services for You.
      • If You use the Website or the App, You agree that information about Your use of the Housejoy Website and HJ App through Your mobile telecommunication device may be communicated to us, and we may obtain information about Your mobile carrier, Your mobile device, or Your physical location. By accessing the HJ App or Website using a mobile telecommunication device, You represent that to the extent You import any of Your Housejoy data to Your mobile telecommunication device that You have authority to share the transferred data with Your mobile carrier or other access provider. In the event You change or deactivate Your mobile account, You must promptly update Your Housejoy account information to ensure that Your messages are not sent to the person that acquires Your old number and failure to do so is Your responsibility. You acknowledge that You are responsible for all charges and necessary permissions related to accessing the HJ App through Your mobile access provider. Therefore, You should check with Your provider to find out if our Website and HJ App are available and the terms for these services for Your specific mobile devices.
      • Housejoy reserves the right to collect user data including name, contact information and other details to facilitate the Services or use of its HJ App to avail Services.
      • Compilation of user accounts and user accounts bearing contact number and e-mail addresses are owned by Housejoy.
      • In the case where the system is unable to establish unique identity of the user against a valid mobile number or e-mail address, the account shall be indefinitely suspended. Housejoy reserves the full discretion to suspend a user's account in the above event and does not have the liability to share any account information whatsoever.
      • We may record your telephone calls to our call centres or to Us.
  • Termination or Suspension
      • You agree that Housejoy may at any time terminate your access to the HJ App or Website or restrict or suspend your access to all or any part of the Website or the App at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice, and without liability.
      • Housejoy shall be entitled at any time without giving any reason to terminate the booking of services done by You.
  • Preservation / Disclosure
      • You acknowledge, consent and agree that Housejoy may access, preserve and disclose your account information and content if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access, preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
      • comply with legal process nationally or internationally;
      • enforce these Terms of Use;
      • respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of third parties;
      • respond to your requests for customer service;
      • protect the rights, property or personal safety of Housejoy, its subscribers and the public; or
      • pursuant to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
  • Security Components
    • You understand that our Website and HJ App and software embodied within the Website and HJ App may include security components that permit digital materials to be protected, and that use of these materials is subject to usage rules set by Housejoy and/or content providers who provide content to Housejoy. You may not attempt to override, disable, circumvent or otherwise interfere with any such security components and usage rules embedded in our platforms.

  • Housejoy and Third Parties
    • You may be able to access links to third party sites from the HJ App or Website. Third parties could be advertisers, affiliate partners, strategic partners, or others. Housejoy expressly disclaims all responsibilities for such third party links. We do not warrant the products or offerings of, any of these businesses or individuals, or the accuracy of the content of their websites. Housejoy does not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, product, and content of any such Third Party websites. Before you use any Third Party websites, you should review the applicable terms of use and policies for such Websites. If you decide to access any such linked Website, you do so at your own risk.

  • Compliance with Applicable Law
      • You agree that You shall not use the HJ App and Website in order to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update, distribute, share, store or destroy material, including without limitation Housejoy Content:
        • in violation of any applicable law or regulation,
        • in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of others or violate the privacy, publicity or other personal rights of others,
        • that belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any right to,
        • that is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, threatening, abusive or hateful or racially, ethnically objectionable, disparaging, relating encouraging money laundering or gambling or otherwise unlawful in any manner whatsoever,
        • harm minors in any way,
        • deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such message or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature,
        • impersonate another person or entity,
        • contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of Housejoy’s computer systems or site or Housejoy’s users, customer’s computer systems or site,
        • threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states or of public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or insulting any other nation.

      • The HJ App and the Website are owned by Housejoy. Housejoy is the sole owner of the App, Website and all software created to provide You with the Services. Housejoy provides You with a single limited license to download, use and access the App/Website on Your mobile telephone devices for the limited purpose of using the Services. The license is specifically personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive. All content on the App or the Website, which is including, but not limited to, designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files and any other content (“Content”) are the exclusive and sole property of Housejoy. You may not copy, reproduce or use such Content without due attribution of ownership to Housejoy. All icons and logos are trademarks of and proprietary to Housejoy. The unauthorized copying, modification, use or publication of these marks is strictly prohibited.
      • All Content is the exclusive copyright of Housejoy or its licensors, except the Third Party Content and link to third party website. Systematic retrieval of Housejoy Content to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database or directory (whether through robots, spiders, automatic devices or manual processes) without written permission from Housejoy is prohibited. In addition, use of the Content for any purpose not expressly permitted by Housejoy in this Agreement is prohibited and may invite legal action.
  • Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability
      • All the material and products on our Website and HJ App, (including but not limited to software) and services, included on or otherwise made available to you through our Website and HJ App are provided on "as is" and "as available" basis without any representation or warranties, express or implied except otherwise specified in writing. Without prejudice to the forgoing paragraph, Housejoy does not warrant that:
        • This Website will be constantly available, or available at all; or
        • The information on this Website is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading;
        • That the Services will meet the customer’s requirements.
      • Housejoy will not be liable to you in any way or in relation to the Contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with its Website and HJ App. Housejoy does not warrant that this Website or the HJ App; information, Content, materials, product or services included on or otherwise made available to you through its Website and HJ App; the servers; or electronic communication sent from us are free of viruses or other harmful components.
      • Housejoy shall not be liable for any conduct or behaviour or actions of service providers. However, Housejoy encourages you to notify us of any complaints that you may have against the service provider who has provided You with services on behalf of Housejoy.
      • You agree and acknowledge that the use of the Services offered by Housejoy is at Your sole risk and that Housejoy disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied as to condition, suitability, quality, merchantability and fitness for any purposes are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
      • Housejoy will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service offered by the Company, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
      • SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, IN NO EVENT WILL HOUSEJOY OR ITS AFFILIATES' AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE PAYMENTS ACTUALLY RECEIVED AND RETAINED BY HOUSEJOY FROM YOU FOR THE PAID SERVICES LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CAUSES OF ACTION BROUGHT BY YOU OR YOUR AGENTS.
  • Indemnity
      • You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Housejoy, its subsidiaries, affiliates, subcontractors, officers, directors, employees, consultants, representatives and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from:
        • your use of and access to our Platforms;
        • your violation of any term of this Agreement;
        • your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.
  • Miscellaneous
      • These Terms of Use and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by Housejoy without restriction.
      • These Terms of Use together with any other legal notices published by Housejoy on its Platforms, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Housejoy concerning its Website and HJ App and governs your use of our Website and HJ App and Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Housejoy with respect to our Website and HJ App and Service.
      • The failure of Housejoy to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavour to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Terms of Use remain in full force and effect
      • These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of India, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any claim or dispute between you and Housejoy that arises in whole or in part from our Website and HJ App shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Bangalore.
  • With whom your Personal Information is shared?
    • When you order services through us, we must provide certain of your Personal Information to the third party or vendors to enable the successful fulfilment of your service.

      However, we do not sell or rent individual customer names or other Personal Information to third parties except sharing of such information with our alliance partners or vendors such as AppVirality, Leanplum who are engaged by us for providing various promotional and other benefits to our customers from time to time basis their booking history with us.

      We use non - personally identifiable information in aggregate form to build higher quality, more useful online services by performing statistical analysis of the collective characteristics and behaviour of our customers and visitors, and by measuring demographics and interests regarding specific areas of the website, mobile site and mobile app. We may provide anonymous statistical information based on this data to suppliers, advertisers, affiliates and other current and potential Business partners. We may also use such aggregate data to inform these third parties as to the number of people who have seen and clicked on links to their websites.

  • What safeguards we have in place to protect your Personal Information?

      • We strongly discourage any direct contact with our HJ Expert regarding a job booked through us, as in such cases Housejoy has no control over the situation or condition. All warranty and service assurance offered by Housejoy, in such case, stands null & void.
      • If you do have any complaints, suggestions or feedback with regard to the service quality, or our service provider, pricing etc. please report it to our Customer Support Desk at 1860-123-4569 or mail us at cs@housejoy.in It is advisable to do this within 24hrs of your service.
  • Beauty
      • From wax heaters to pedicure tubs; from disposable gowns to nail paint remover- our beauticians carry everything in their magic bags! All you need to do is heat some water for us and be ready to be pampered!
      • Coupons may not be applicable on the beauty packages since its already at discounted rates
      • If you do have any complaints, suggestions or feedback with regard to the service quality, or our service provider, pricing etc. please report it to our Customer Support Desk at 1860-123-4569 or mail us at cs@housejoy.in. It is advisable to do this within 24hrs of your service
  • Plumbing

  • Laundry
      • Please ensure that you check the line items on the invoice/job sheet at the time of handing over the clothes.
      • Please examine the garments at the time of delivery, we will not be responsible for any damages indicated after delivery.
      • Please do not remove tags from washed clothes if you are unhappy with the quality of wash.
      • We are not responsible for fastness / running of color/ shrinkage / damage /embroidery work on the garments during process.
      • Every effort is made to remove stains. If stains are not removable, the customer shall not have any rights to claim deduction in charges.
  • Computer / Laptop Repair
      • Warranty/guarantee on spare parts would be as described on the materials' bill. Please insist for a material bill from our HJ Expert in case he is procuring the materials for you.
      • Any device which is repairable would be insured only upto the repair amount or the amount mentioned above or the depreciated value
      • We strongly discourage any direct contact with our HJ Expert regarding a job booked through us, as in such cases Housejoy has no control over the situation or condition. All warranty and service assurance offered by Housejoy, in such case, stands null & void.

  • Pest Control
    • Please be aware that it usually takes 3-4 days for the treatment to start taking effect and 12 days for complete outcome

  • Cars & Bikes
      • Warranty/guarantee on spare parts would be as described on the materials' bill. Please insist for a material bill from our HJ Expert in case he is procuring the materials for you.
      • Please ask for the service checklist and ensure that the mechanic is adhering to it.
      • Service charges will be waived off in case the same problem recurs within 7 days of the service
  • Home Cleaning
      • Before initiating the job at your premises, please confirm with your HJ Expert the areas included & excluded for the service that you have selected.
      • We strongly advise you to make sure that all your belongings are carefully kept in a secure location. Please make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision only. Also, when our team is leaving your premises, please make sure that you have thoroughly checked the entire home.
  • Document Services
      • Housejoy is not responsible for any loss or damage to the Documents in the process.
      • Housejoy is acting as an intermediary between the customer and the service provider. It is not liable for any loss or damage monetary or non-monetary.
      • The charge for the service may vary and can be decided upon by the customer and the service provider.
  • Home Security & Automation
      • Housejoy (Sarvaloka Services On Call Private Limited) is an intermediary platform which connects you to an independent service provider (“Service Provider”). This Service Provider renders the Services to you directly.
      • Once you have selected the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your information and details may be shared with such Service Provider.
      • You agree that once you and the Service Provider has been connected via Housejoy’s platform, the Service Provider will be required to inspect the premises, to communicate the estimate cost of such service. You further acknowledge and agree that only once you have accepted such estimated cost offer, will the Service Provider render the Services.
      • Each booked Service is limited to one Service. Once the Service is booked, it is non-transferable.
      • Goods and Service tax (as per Government Regulations), and any other taxes as applicable, will apply on the quoted prices for the Services.
      • Any payment that has once been remitted to Housejoy is non-refundable. A full refund may be offered to you, in case of any cancellation from the Service Provider’s end, due to a reason not attributable to your acts or omissions.
      • The Service Provider will not wait for more than 30 (Thirty) minutes at the Service premises, hence it is essential to mention the exact time beforehand. Waiting charges of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) per hour will be applicable and payable by you, in case the Service does not start at the scheduled time, subject to the availability of the Service Provider.
      • You agree that you shall be bound by the terms and conditions/policy of the service providers, whether in writing or not. These may include, without limitation, product warranty and installation and any guidelines with respect to the service.
      • You acknowledge and agree that some services may not be provided by the Service Provider, or if provided such services may be rendered at extra cost.
      • In the event that the service provider does not communicate any such terms to you, it will be your responsibility to ask for such terms/policy at the time of inspection of the items that are to be installed.
      • In the event that you extend the services, you agree that the costs may be revised by the service provider.
      • In the event of any loss or damage caused to you as a result of an accident, Housejoy will not be responsible for actions of any service provider. They are independent third parties who provide the services to you.
      • THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY THE THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, HOUSEJOY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITIES, WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
      • HOUSEJOY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE SERVICES. NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF HOUSEJOY, IF ANY, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, SHALL NOT EXCEED RUPEES ONE THOUSAND.
      • You are under an obligation to ensure the safety of the Service Provider or its personnel, while at the premises, and shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the same is provided for.
      • Any dispute with regards to the quality of Service would have to be resolved mutually between you and the Service Provider.
      • Housejoy will not be accountable for any misdemeanour or misbehaviour from either the Service Provider or by you.
      • You explicitly agree that you shall not to solicit any services from any service provider directly.
      • Housejoy will not be liable for any Service carried out without our knowledge by mutual agreement between you and the Service Provider.
      • Housejoy reserves the right to make changes to any part of these terms and conditions at any point in the future.
  • Movers & Packers
      • Housejoy (Sarvaloka Services On Call Private Limited) is an intermediary platform which connects you to an independent service provider (“Service Provider”). This Service Provider renders the Services to you directly.
      • Once you have selected the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your information and details may be shared with such Service Provider.
      • You agree that once you and the Service Provider has been connected via Housejoy’s platform, the Service Provider will be required to inspect all items that need to be packed and/or moved, to communicate the estimate cost of such service. You further acknowledge and agree that only once you have accepted such estimated cost offer, will the Service Provider render the Services.
      • Each booked Service is limited to one Service. Once the Service is booked, it is non-transferable.
      • Goods and Service tax (as per Government Regulations), and any other taxes as applicable, will apply on the quoted prices for the Services.

      • You acknowledge and agree that the Service Provider may not provide any dissembling, dismantling, or carpentry services. You further agree that some services may not be provided by the Service Provider, or if provided such services may be rendered at extra cost.
      • In the event that the service provider does not communicate any such terms to you, it will be your responsibility to ask for such terms/policy at the time of inspection of the items that are to be packed and moved.
      • In the event that you extend the services, you agree that the costs may be revised by the service provider.
      • In the event of any loss or damage caused to you as a result of an accident, Housejoy will not be responsible for actions of any service provider. They are independent third parties who provide the services to you.

      • Housejoy will not be liable for any Service carried out without our knowledge by mutual agreement between you and the Service Provider.
      • Housejoy reserves the right to make changes to any part of these terms and conditions at any point in the future.

Please read the following policy to understand the rework and refund policy of Sarvaloka Services on Call Private Limited ("Housejoy"). Acceptance of this Policy is mandatory prior to booking any service from Housejoy.

  • Introduction
    • For any issues related to the quality of service, you can e-mail us at cs@housejoy.in or call our support team on 1860-123-4569.
    • Any complaints in respect of the service should be raised within 24 hours from the service. In the event that any rework or refund is to be processed for the service it shall be initiated only within the warranty period for the respective service. The warranty period of various services is as set forth in Schedule 1 and the exclusions are set forth in Schedule 2. The decision on whether a service should be reworked, or a refund is to be provided will be at the discretion of Housejoy
    • In the event that any rework is to be performed for any services that has already been rendered via a service provider (“Housejoy Expert”), Housejoy should be contacted directly on cs@housejoy.in or 1860-123-4569. Please do not call the Housejoy Expert directly. In the event that any Customer directly contacts the Housejoy Expert:
      1. Housejoy will not responsible for any actions or behavior of the Housejoy Expert, nor will it be responsible for any consequences thereof.
      2. The Customer shall have waived his / her / its right to any service warranty that may have been provided at the time of booking.
    • The rework of any rendered service would be done by either a Housejoy Expert or a third party appointed by Housejoy (at the discretion of Housejoy).
    • Housejoy would be liable only for the service rendered / appliance repaired / replaced. Further, Housejoy would not be liable for any service / appliance which has been changed / altered post such rendering of service / repair, by you or any third party.
    • We do not undertake any repairs related to the printed circuit board (PCB) neither will we be able to provide any warranty for the same.
    • We do not undertake any repairs for appliances older that 5 years from the date of purchase neither will we be able to provide any warranty for the same.
    • Please report any payment or invoicing related issues within 48 (Forty Eight) hours of the job closure.
  • For issues within warranty period
    • The warranty period differs from service to service and is applicable from the date of completion of the service, provided that the full amount for such service has been paid to Housejoy.
    • In case you have any concerns with the work completed, Housejoy may cause the service to be reworked free-of-cost, provided that such concern raised is bona fide and/or upon Housejoy conducting an inspection, if necessary.
    • In case it is difficult to identify if the rework is related to the Housejoy rendered service or not, we will send our technician to conduct an inspection, without any additional inspection charges and take a complete account of the situation. Post such inspection, if our technician is of the view that the rework is not related to the Housejoy rendered service, no rework of the service will be rendered. You will further be liable to reimburse any and all charges of the technician for such inspection.
    • You acknowledge and agree that for categories, including, but not limited to, laundry, beauty, fitness, home cleaning and painting, packers & movers, documentation services, a warranty and possibility of rework will not be applicable. Therefore, any issue reported with respect to the quality of service for these categories will be based on the outcome of inspection of the service provided.
  • For issues raised outside warranty period
    • No rework will be performed by Housejoy or Housejoy’s Experts post the warranty period.
    • Please call or write to us to book a new job.
  • Compensation & Refund
    • Processing any refund is at the complete discretion of Housejoy. In all events, the maximum amount that Housejoy will pay you as compensation or refund, shall be at the discretion of Housejoy, depending on the service availed by you, and shall not exceed the service amount paid by you for the respective service or Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand), whichever is lower. Under no circumstances will the maximum amount payable to you by Housejoy exceed Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand).

  • SCHEDULE 2
    • Warranty on Pest Control is as follows : Cockroach control - 30 days, Termite Control – 5 years, Bed Bugs – 30 days on single service, Wood Borer – 1 year, General Pest Control – No warranty for single service, 3 months warranty applicable on AMC
    • Any pest control services rendered other than cockroach control and is outside the AMC subscription. All pest control services take 7-10 days to take effect. Post the present treatment booked, our experts will help you identify the sources of the infestation and also will suggest you best practises to be followed for a pest free environment.
    • Warranty is not valid for any issues resulting from an existing damage in the unit/automobile for which the customer is not ready to take up the suggested repair by the HJ technician.
    • Warranty is not valid for any part / material which is procured / purchased by the customer or for damages / issues resulting out of the a part / material procured by the customer
    • Manufacturer warranty or 30 days of HJ warranty will apply for parts / materials procured by HJ – whichever is higher
    • Warranty is not valid for any washing / cleaning services rendered for an automobile
    • Warranty is not valid for any services wherein HouseJoy is acting as the intermediator between Customer & Vendor.
